We are starting a blog!

This is a fun thing I’ve been wanting to get going for a while, and it’s finally time to commit.

If you don’t know, I’m a bit of a nerd (if you’re my patient, you’ve likely experienced a condensed lecture form answer after asking a question about how your body works and watched me spin into a flurry of excited theories and mechanisms before circling back and giving you some simple things to try throughout your day to help your health and wellness improve).

What not many people are privy to, I also like to write and educate. In chiropractic school, I wrote articles for our student magazine, and I have kept a journal on and off since I was a child. I also taught for 2 years at Life Chiropractic College West when I was getting the practice off the ground, and miss it dearly.

I find writing to be a unique way to connect and share my ideas and random things I’m learning in a slower, more methodical, format.

The plan for this blog - WRITE. I’m looking at this right now kind of like the Barbell Chirorpactic journal, and we’ll see where it takes us! The topics will range from health tips, to practice updates, facts about health and wellness, and summaries of research articles I’ve been reading. There is no strict format, and there may be some rambling, but my hope is that whoever is reading learns a thing or two and is inspired in some way or another.
